The FBI reports there were an estimated 773,139 motor vehicle thefts nationwide in 2017. Roughly two-thirds of stolen vehicles are taken from public areas such as parking lots and streets. The remaining third are taken from private residences

Cost of Recovery

The cost of a new commercial vehicle is around $30,000+. The cost of parts and equipment stolen from vehicles can get into the tens of thousands of dollars. The cost of recovery and time spent is an unmeasurable hardship.
